Adult film superstar Evan Stone, who played The Riddler in Axel Braun’s blockbuster hit “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody” literally stole the show Friday night when he showed up in full costume at the Girls and Corpses magazine party for its “Alien Autopsy” issue. As soon as he arrived at Meltdown Comics on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, The Riddler was mobbed by photographers, journalists and fans, who seemingly couldn’t get enough of the masked puzzler.

“It was a last minute decision” says Stone, “Axel and I were having dinner on the strip with some friends when we heard of the party, and we thought it was a great opportunity have some fun!”

Distributed exclusively by adult powerhouse Vivid Entertainment, “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody” has been at the top of the adult movie sales and rental charts all summer, and won the F.A.M.E. award for Best Parody. The spoof of the 1960s TV show was the kick-off movie for a series of parodies that Braun and Vivid will be doing together. Their next superhero project, “Superman XXX: A Porn Parody” will begin principal photography in September.

Digital Playground’s next mega-epic is BODY HEAT, the studio’s most prominent fall 2010 release. The dramatic feature was helmed by not one but two of the studio’s directing talents: Joone and Robby D.

A few tantalizing details were released today by the studio, including the lineup of stars. Jesse Jane, Riley Steele, Raven Alexis, Kayden Kross and Katsuni will all be seen in the big-budget release. Body Heat is the first feature that Kayden Kross has done at the studio, and it’s also the first time she has worked with all four of her contract sisters in an all-girl scene. The production also stars Mick Blue, Scott Nails, Tommy Gunn and, of course, Evan Stone.

Described as “a cross between The Hurt Locker and Ladder 49,” says a company representative, Body Heat “is about firefighters and the relationships that bind them together and the trials and tribulations they face. It is filled with intense action, passion and love.”

As befits the studio that put out the special-effects-laden Pirates series, quality was a top priority for the moviemakers, and they brought in acting coaches and consultants to ensure the action was realistic. “The specialists we worked with were firefighters and explosives experts. We also hired an Oscar-winning costume designer. … We tried to make this movie as authentic as possible,” said the Digital Playground source. Some scenes were shot in downtown Los Angeles, including a bomb explosion (supervised by the experts) and action in the same firehouse interior that was used in Ghostbusters!

Kayden Kross graces the cover of this months Anniversary edition of Penthouse for the second time in three years. “Penthouse picked an ideal cover girl with Kayden Kross.” says Joone, Digital Playground’s award-winning founder and director, “She has a magnetic effect on everyone she comes in contact with. Just wait until you see her mind-blowing performance in our upcoming feature Body Heat.“
